Highland Games - 4 Rivers District Event

Posted by mlimansky on Aug 5 2014 - 1:02am

The 4R “O’Clabby Clan Highland Games” welcomes all Cub Scout Packs on Saturday, September 6 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at Monsignor Slade School, Glen Burnie.  A Four Rivers tradition, this is a chance for all Cub Scouts from Tigers to Webelos II to participate in a totally fun Pack-level competition against Cub Scouts of their own age group. Packs can register any number of boys from 1 to 1000.  The individual events are a Cub Scout appropriate version of the famous Scottish Highland Games: think “pig toss” with stuffed animals.  Everyone is a winner and the best overall Pack scores will be awarded.  Cub Scout age (7-10) siblings may also register and participate but their scores will not be added to Pack totals.  Cost is $10 per Cub Scout/Sibling by August 23 or $15 thereafter.
